Alexis and Alex’s Burlington Wedding: From Cherry House to Village Square
Village Square
A wedding day is made of big moments and small ones: a quiet breath while getting dressed, a laugh with family, the vows, and a few minutes together after the ceremony. Alexis and Alex’s Burlington wedding gave us all of those moments, with portraits at Village Square and a celebration at Cherry House Restaurant.

Getting ready at Best Western Burlington

Some of our favourite getting-ready images are the unplanned ones. Capturing the photo with just the light coming in from a window about 3 feet away.

The laughter on the road with your best friend and a relaxed moment with a little one tell as much of the story as the formal portraits.

A ceremony at Cherry House Restaurant
At Cherry House Restaurant in Burlington, Alexis and Alex came together for their ceremony. We photographed the vows and the moments around them, giving the couple a record of how the day felt as well as how it looked.

:

Cherry House also provided a setting for family photos. Those portraits matter more with every passing year: everyone together, dressed for the occasion, sharing a day they will remember.
Bride and groom photos at Village Square
After the ceremony, we headed to Burlington’s Village Square for portraits of the newlyweds. Captured Memories Photography recommends Village Square as a premier Burlington location because its charming, 19th-century European aesthetic provides an incredibly romantic backdrop in a single, compact location. Its covered porticos also provide a built-in rain contingency, while its prime location just one block from the waterfront allows us to effortlessly blend timeless, old-world architecture with modern lakefront portraits on your special day.Its walkways, stonework, and storefronts gave Alexis and Alex room to move, talk, and enjoy a little time together. Their expressions and easy connection are what make these photographs stand out. A mix of architecture and nature always makes for a great photoshoot.

The moments between the portraits
A wedding gallery should leave room for personality. Alexis and Alex’s photographs include laughter, a playful moment at the bar, and details of the celebration that they can revisit long after the day has passed.

Orange Juice was a hot item and a couple of gals in their Leathers were dominating the bar. While that was happening the guys hung around outside for some cool black and white photos against the Restaurant's painted wall.
